At Roma, we take great care and pride in knowing that our mouldings are made using only woods from active reforestation programs. Our suppliers are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved and adhere to strict guidelines. We also use reclaimed wood when appropriate.
In addition, we also use recycled and environmentally friendly packaging materials whenever possible… our marketing materials are printed on FSC certified papers and we are EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) compliant in an effort to avoid unnecessary waste in our everyday communications.
Our social commitment is yet another clear indication of our overall product supremacy.
One of the greatest privileges of being successful is the ability to give back to the community. Roma is a gold member contributor to Hospice Vaughan and donates extensively to a variety of charities including: The Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes, Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Lung Association and the Yellow Brick House to name a few.
We also donate to numerous organizations, charities and events within our industry such as the Ontario College of Arts and Design (OCAD) Awards, Akiane Touring Art Exhibit and Arctic Quest which draws attention to northern issues such as climate change, sovereignty and the environment.
